SCREAMING FIELDS 17
Since its first edition in 2010, the Screaming Fields Festival, organized by Rocklab, has become the yearly launch pad for young and talented bands and musicians from Luxembourg. For its eighth edition, taking place on July 15 2017 at the Club of the Rockhal, Screaming Fields will be upgraded with a Song Contest.

Screaming Fields aims at scouting, supporting and showcasing young emerging bands and artists from Luxembourg. Each year, the selected bands and artists benefit from special preparation packages developed by Rocklab: specific workshops (vocals, instruments), meetings where the bands and artists get insight into some technical essentials (stage plot, tech rider) as well as communication tools and strategies (social media) and a live rehearsal at the Club of the Rockhal in order to get familiar with a professional stage (monitor sound) and to elaborate their live performance.
On the day of the festival, several prizes will be offered to the final winners, who will all receive an artist support package consisting of selected workshops, rehearsal or recording sessions at Rocklab and the Rockhalstudio or financial and promotional support tools put together by Rocklab and the partners of the event. Moreover, several bookers from Luxembourg and the Greater Region will be providing concert opportunities.
Rocklab and Cactus have decided to join forces to bring you a song contest for young bands and artists from Luxembourg. It complements the festival and its live aspect by focusing on the creative songwriting and production process. The winner of the contest will receive an Artist Package, offered by Cactus and put together by Rocklab. It aims at transforming the winner's initial idea into a finished song, enabling the artist to realize his creative project and to share his artistic vision with the audience through a wide promotion.
The Screaming Fields Song Contest is organized in partnership with Cactus.
