Like the three musketeers, FUCK ART, LET’S DANCE! is striving through the vast wilderness of modern music society. All for one, one for all, that’s their motto. Through dedication and unconditioned commitment, they create a very unique and addicting sound that can be experienced live during their showcase concert at the Rockhacafe on 26 October 2012.
Fuck Art, Let’s Dace! are quite simply boys providing the very best fidgety tunes. Romeo Sfendules (Guitar) and Tim Hansen (Drums) operate as a highly motivated and brilliant team behind the dynamic, inspired and ridiculously young and talented singer Nico. The band manages to create a make believe utopia and their intense electronic beats drive the atmospheric guitars directly into the open hearts of their dancing fans.
“Tous pour un, un pour tous”, ecstasy and neon lights have won over MTV, NME and Audiolith with Jamie Hodgson (NME) citing that the Hamburg lads play “jerky 2-bit dance pop for indie geeks with colourful knit-wear!” They have released three self-produced EP’s with heavy danceable grooving indie guitar and dance floor sound. On “Lovers Arcade” their latest release they present eight original songs plus a cover version of her dance hit “The Conqueror”. Stylistically, not unlike British acts such as Bloc Party, you hear on “Lovers Arcade” melodic undistorted guitar lines. The groovy drums and the beautiful synth lines complete the awesome release.
This is just a glimpse of what one is to expect, when listening to these three highly spirited Hamburg youths. Formed in 2008, out of the ashes of several dissolved bands, Nico Cham, Tim Hansen and Romeo Sfendules became a brilliant collective. Hefty electronic beats and atmospheric guitar waves unify, paving the way towards a memorable showcase. You are very welcome to see the boys live at the Rockhalcafe on 26 October 2012. Grab your friends, have a drink and enjoy this young band from Germany. The entrance is free as usual!
