Soundgarden have decided to cancel the show at the Rockhal on 28 May in order to join Metallica on the bill of the Werchter Boutique Festival in Belgium.

The invitation from Metallica for Soundgarden to share the stage with them for the festival came after the announcement of the Rockhal show. After a long thought the bands decided to alter their plans, giving their fans the ability to see both bands together on the same bill.  Furthermore, all those who purchased a Soundgarden ticket for the Rockhal show will be given a nice present:

All tickets bought for the Rockhal show will stay valid for Werchter Boutique: So go and see Soundgarden AND Metallica, together with Mastodon, Channel Zero, Gojira and Ghost at no additional ticketing costs! Get ready for an amazing night of finest metal and grunge.

How does it work? - Very simple: Just go to Werchter on 28 May. Your ticket for the Rockhal show grants you access to the festival. Tickets can be scanned as barcodes will be integrated in the access system of Werchter Boutique. In case you should face any problems, the Rockhal team will be at your disposal at the main entrance of Werchter Boutique. For those who can't make it to Werchter, tickets can be reimbursed at their point of purchase until 30 April 2012.
