We regret to announce that the show of Sefyu had to be cancelled!

Three years after his triumph at the Victoires de la Musique, Sefye has come back in force with his new album "Oui, je le suis". The rapper, whose face is cunningly concealed under his cap, will be on tour this year and will passing at the Rockhal on 19 April 2012 to sing tracks from his latest album.

Just to remind you, Sefuy made his name on the Paris underground scene and later more widely through the collaboration with successful artists (Rohff, Sniper, Passi...). As time went on, Sefyu made his name in the mainstream rap. He really got going in the year 2000. When you hear him, he sounds like he would be talking to you directly from the grave. His written command of his texts is unique. The oppressive atmosphere descends upon you. Sefyu takes us into a universe which is his and his only... His rap is still a tsunami on the French charts. This is because the artist has just come up with third masterpiece "Oui, je le suis". Before that came "Qui suis-je ?" in 2006 and "Suis-je le gardien de mon frère" in 2008.

Sefyu has now completed his trilogy with an album considered by the critics to be more mature and toned down. His album comes up with open dialogues that are openly based on social conscience. They echo the question marks hovering over France today. Sefyu is a human from top to toe. He is a thoughtful man and full of different shades of meaning. His rap is savage. His sensitive texts carry us away. His view of the world is acid. The album "Oui, je le suis", above all, comes from an artist who never rests upon his laurels. It was written between 2009 and 2011, bang in the middle of the identity crisis which was raging in France. This album is a grown up creation and its question marks are rumbling through the France of today.

Three tracks have already been released, namely, "L'insécurité", "Turbo" and more recently "5 minutes". In these songs, Sefyu, former football player and youth worker, pours forth all his concerns and shares his vision of life and the image of his ideal society.

Sefyu we can believe in. He is accessible. He is both respected and respectable. From today onwards, he has his own place among the not to be ignored giants of French music. The French rapper of Senegalese origin will be launching his songs like hand grenades in the teeth of the cliches and taboos while preaching respect for mixed backgrounds at the Rockhal on 19 April 2012.
