With their incredible range of saturated sounds and a raging stage show, DANKO JONES incarnate the ultimate blend of destruction rock, with influences ranging from AC/DC-style hard rock to punk and blues rock and metal. These Canadians fascinate their audiences and critics with their authentic and powerful records. DANKO JONES will present their latest production “Below the Belt” in Luxembourg, on 15th November at the Rockhal Club.

DANKO JONES are particularly known for having played as supporting act for Guns N’Roses during their Canadian tour, Motörhead in Europe (2008), and the Rolling Stones in Toronto in 2006. Now, they’re presenting their 6th album. Once again, “Below the Belt”, which was recorded with Matt DeMatteo, has this authentic and powerful rock sound. The intensity of the 11 songs reminds just as much of the band’s first records as of the astonishingly harmonious newer albums. The first singles “Full of Regret” quickly went on heavy rotation on all radio stations. The video clip, which was released in May 2010, stars renowned artists such as Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Selma Blair (Hellboy II), Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead) and Mike Watt (The Stooges).

The band DANKO JONES was formed in 1996 by Danko Jones (vocals and guitar), John Calabrese (bass) and Dan Cornelius (drums). The trio played hard rock and didn’t hide their influences, such as AC/DC, Kiss, Slayer and The Ramones. After innumerable shows around the globe and 4 nominations for the Juno Music Awards, Danko Jones now please their fans with their 6th album, and on 15th November, they’ll perform on stage at the Rockhal Club…
