KIEFER SUTHERLAND - Not Enough Whiskey In Europe 2017
Many may know Kiefer Sutherland from movies like “Stand by Me” and “Forsaken” or from the TV series “24” where he played Jack Bauer. He is not only a famous actor, but he has had many vocations in his career. So in 1992 he has been a cattle rancher and competitive cowboy in the USTRC team roping circuit. During this time he has won several roping events around the country. In 2002 Sutherland began a small record label called “Ironworks” with his music partner and best friend Jude Cole. The goal was to record local musicians, such as Rocco DeLuca, the Burden, HoneyHoney and Billy Boy On Poison, and to distribute their music. In 2009 Kiefer Sutherland has left the label to figure out what he was doing next.
In early 2015 Sutherland had written two songs that he wanted to record as demos for other artists to record. After a positive response from Cole, they produced this album and it grew organically from those two records. This collaboration resulted in Kiefer Sutherland’s debut album: ”Down In A Hole”. This album counts 11 tracks and it is like a diary of his life. He says: “There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music. As much as I have enjoyed the writing and recording process, I am experiencing great joy now being able to play these songs to a live audience, which was something I hadn’t counted on.”
