They’re the English electro pop sensation of the last months and already considered as one of the “next big things“. New Young Pony Club will release their second album, “The Optimist” in March. It’s a little more pop and sweeter than its predecessor, but still has this little dance aspect which already is NYPC’s trade mark!

New Young Pony Club was formed in 2004 by the sublime, yet mysterious Tahita Bulmer. Their first EP, “Ice cream”, catapulted them to success. The limited edition of this record was sold out in only three days. 

After a first tour together with Lily Allen and another one which was sponsored by the NME (with CSS and the Klaxons), they released their first album, “Fantastic Playroom” in July 2007. This electro album was a very danceable and energetic one and easily got classified in the British sales charts just after its release.

The second album, “The Optimist”, will be in stores on March 1st. The new song “Lost a girl” was made available online for free download in December and the three girls and two boys will go on a nice and long European tour in March.

The date for Luxembourg’s been fixed on May 12, 2010!
