PENDULUM!!! This name is taken from medical books and it’s on everyone’s lips because they’re on number one in the English charts with their new album, “immersion”. This Australian band is acclaimed by the musical press since their sales figures literally exploded and they started sending the sound engineers of the biggest festivals into the oxygen tent. On 25th September, the new kings of Drum & Bass / Jungle will perform at the Rockhal Club. For all those who have a weak heart, watch out because the rhythm will be accelerated…
It's our 5th anniversary - so the ticket price is 5,- EUR only. Get your tickets now and celebrate with us five years Rockhal. But don't wait too long, it's first come first serve!
Stay tuned and watch out for our other birthday gifts. You can already mark the time from 23rd to 30th September, more info soon!
Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding are Australians living in the UK. They became known through their song “Another Planet”, which was released in 2005. They bring their DJ and remixing skills together in order to create their own style of surgically efficient Pop Drum & Bass…
Their style: scalpel-cut, heavy beats, accompanied by deep bass lines, synthie melodies, and some raging guitars and MC mixes... They would deserve a Nobel Prize in medicine for their perfect technique. But foremost, they open up drum & bass to a larger audience through their very futuristic, atmospheric sound… After “Hold Your Colour” in 2005, which is already a reference in Drum & Bass, the album “In Silico” (2008) introduced the band to a larger audience. The third record “immersion”, which was released in spring 2010, immediately made it to number one. Without a doubt, PENDULUM is a therapy which works, their remix of The Prodigy’s “Voodoo People” is the perfect treatment for low blood pressure, and the world’s best cardiologists recommend their live performance.
To put it shortly, on 25th September, PENDULUM’s appearance at the Rockhal Club is more than an event not to miss, it’s an absolute must. Just ask your family physician!
