It was the fastest sell out in Luxembourg ever. When presales started at 08h00 this morning, the demand for tickets was unbelievable. All presale systems including the national online payment system CETREL temporarily faced a system overload. Also the Rockhal website, as major link for fans from all over the world, went offline due to this heavy traffic, facing more than 35.000 visitors. Ticket sales were as fast as the systems could handle the traffic, so it took 3 hours until all tickets were gone, the main ticketing system Luxembourg Ticket already sold out it’s contingent after 40 minutes.The Rockhal wants to apologize to all who tried to access its website without success and recommends to those who weren’t lucky to get their tickets for the 6th May the shows at TW Classic (June 20th) and Nancy (June 28th) as well as the tour in Germany.

Depeche Mode gelten mit über 100 Millionen verkauften Alben als eine der einflussreichsten Gruppen der Post-Punk-Ära sowie als eine der wenigen „Superbands“, die Dank ihrer kreativen Visionen den Sprung von den 80er Jahren ins 21. Jahrhundert geschafft hat. Die 1981 von Martin Gore, Dave Gahan und Andy Fletcher gegründete Formation ist nach wie vor kommerziell ebenso erfolgreich wie live – dort vor allem, weil die Band für ihre einmaligen Live-Performances berühmt ist.

„Sounds of the Universe“, das 12. Album von Depeche Mode, wird für den 20. April erwartet; die erste Singleauskopplung „Wrong“ erscheint bereits am 6. April.

Als Support werden MOTOR die Show eröffnen.
