THE SATELLITE YEAR - 20h00 (Rockhalcafe)
Having received rave reviews for their debut feature „This is Voltaire“ and their nationwide radio Single „Could You Try To Speak In A Higher Register“ (2009) The Satellite Year attain a new and individual level between Pop, Electro and Melodic Post Punk with their Debut-Album „Mission: Polarlights“. The Sextet succeeds in accompanying the audience to highest euphoria. Meanwhile they bring you down to your knees to hold a melodramatic gun barrel to your head. Based on a mixture of playful sounds paired with the rough edges of life THE SATELLITE YEAR present emotionality and ambition.
CLAUDINE MUNO & THE LUNA BOOTS - 20h30 (Club)
Novelist and songwriter, Claudine Muno is first and foremost an explorer. A fearless adventuress exploring the uncharted oceans and undiscovered islands of her own imagination The guitar and the pen are her navigational instruments and her band the Luna Boots are her loyal companions on this voyage. In 2010, the band released their new record “ Noctambul” which is a real toy-box of tricks. Describing her music as folk rock, though not inaccurate, hardly does justice to the broad sweep of her brush: her songs cover every ground from Americana, to chanson française to jazz. Moreover, the group contributed to the original soundtrack of the film “La Régate” in 2010, notably with the song “Avalanche”.

CITY OF GLASS - 21h00 (Rockhalcafe)
Lead by long-time friends Michael Champion (vocals, guitar) and David Phu (guitar), City ofGlass first appeared on the Vancouver music scene in the summer of 2008. Driven by their passion for pop melodies, minimalism and dance music, the talented duo are best known for their meticulously crafted synthscapes, clean riffs, snappy beats and thoughtful vocals. Drummer Alex Cumming joins City of Glass to form their powerful yet understated live show. The Cure, Foals, Whitest Boy Alive, Radiohead, The Knife, Coldplay and New Order are among the band’s influences, yet City of Glass boast a style that’s all their own. http://www.myspace.com/cityofglass
MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY - 21h30 (Club)
Mutiny on the Bounty's sound can be described as urgent, straight mathy, time-signature-laden indierock with post hardcore appeal, combining organic angularity with a taste for captivating melodies. Bands like At The Drive-In, Minus The Bear, The Fall Of Troy, The Blood Brothers and North Of America may cross your mind when you listen to their sound. They love the epic, the sombre, the tragic, the geekship and the hispano flair. On stage MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY is a force to reckon that will leave the crowd of the Sonic Visions tongue-tied. The band is currently working on their new album.

SX - 22h00 (Rockhalcafe)
SX is a band from Belgium founded in 2009, which brings haunting, ethereal indie pop. With keyboards, organs, reverb guitars, enchanting drums and a painfully beautiful voice, their waving and vibrating sound results in a performance that keeps arising. In 2011 they gained momentum as their mesmerizing song “Black Video” became a huge success and they hit the number one spot in several charts. SX has become a new revelation in the Belgian music scene as they have been highlighted as the next Belgian export product. Their first EP release is due for Fall 2011. http://www.sxmusic.be/
KATZENJAMMER - 22h30 (Club)
The ladies of Katzenjammer are a wonderfully bewildering, joyous band that hails from Norway. They create a riotous mix of pop, gypsy folk, blue grass, and rock all topped off with a carnival orchestra. On stage, Katzenjammer displays their own version of musical chairs, the various instruments—including the tuba, the balalaika bass, drums, harmonica, piano, banjo, accordion, mandolin, guitar, melodica and, very efficiently, the aforementioned trumpet—continuously circulating among the four musicians, adding a circus element to the show.

SUN GLITTERS - 23h15 (Rockhalcafe)
Luxembourg’s Sun Glitters sound is an ocean of lush melodies, pitch-shifted vocal samples, ghostly digi-diva choirs, warm bass melodies driven by alternately dense and relaxing beatwork combinations between downtempo and wonky beats.

METRONOMY - 23h45 (Club)
The 4-piece electro-pop outfit, Metronomy, is bringing their summer inspired flavour of the UK to Luxembourg. The band’s combination of electro pop harmonies, high-pitched vocals and twisting rhythm sections will create the feeling of a 70′s summer late into the month of November. Metronomy’s third full-length album, “The English Riviera”, has been released in June. Audiences should expect a vibrant live show with bright lights flashing on and off the performer’s bodies as they creatively weave in and out of their songs – old and new.

REPTILE & RETARD - 00h45 (Rockhalcafe)
This band is so awesome they haven’t even released one single track. Instead the two renegades Esben Valløe and Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen in Reptile and Retard are energizing themselves into a sharp cocktail of frequent police threats and a musical horror vacui at every concert that makes everyone run amock.
Reptile & Retard's plays electronical music but with an old school twist. The atmosphere experienced must be of the same authenticity and intensity that characterizes rock concerts in order for them to be satisfied. People call it Techno Soul. http://www.myspace.com/reptileandretard
