“Get Lucky”, the sixth solo album by Mark Knopfler, will be released on 14 September next. The artist will then embark on another world tour, which will pause at the Rockhal on 8 June 2010. Get your diaries out!
 


Mark Knopfler is a lucky man. He achieved phenomenal success with his group in the Eighties (with 120 million albums sold around the world) and now has one of the most remarkable solo careers.
 


In mid-September, the former vocalist with Dire Straits will release his sixth solo album (already) entitled “Get Lucky”. Guided by his own artistic desires, once again Mark Knopfler has drawn from the very depths of his folk and blues roots to extract eleven numbers with some very fine arrangements.
 


On 8 June 2010, he will be back on stage at the Rockhal, almost two years to the day after his last great performance here.
