PORCUPINE TREE

After a sold out concert in last October, the English band Porcupine Tree returns to the Rockhal on 30 November 2009. They will present their new album “The incident”, which will be released on 21 September.
Porcupine Tree is a band that is all about one person: Steven Wilson. It’s one of those groups that constantly build the legend of their creative mind’s sound with every album they release. “The incident”, their tenth studio album, will be released on 21 September 2009. Once more, the entire world of rock music expects it to become as surprising and captivating as its predecessors.
Porcupine Tree is considered as the missing chain link between Pink Floyd and King Crimson. Nevertheless, they successfully set themselves apart thanks to their outstanding musical and rhythmical professionalism, which has turned their albums into real pieces of art.
According to last news, “The incident”, which is being produced by Wilson himself and will be released on Roadrunner Records, is a double album with the 55-minute eponymous song on the first CD and four others pieces on the second one.
Last year, many of you weren’t able to secure themselves a place at Porcupine Tree’s concert at the Rockhal. So make sure you get some of the precious tickets this year!
