Swedish soil seems to be good for rock bands since they spring up like mushrooms there. For those of you who still hesitate when it comes to pop and rock music from the Far North, here are Shout Out Louds, one of the most important bands from this ambitious Swedish scene. They’re coming back to Luxembourg with their new album “WORK“ and the singles “FALL HARD”, and we’re looking forward to the concert on 28th October at the Rockhal Club.

Shout Out Louds formed in Stockholm in 2001. Full of passion, the three friends recorded their first demo tape, which then circulated in the Swedish music microcosm until Filip Wilén, head of Bud Fox Recordings, took notice of their inspired, highly melodic pop songs. Now the conquest of Scandinavia was only a matter of form.

In 2003, the band released their first album Howl Howl Gaff Gaff in Sweden, and in 2005, Virgin/EMI assumed the international release. During the same year Shout Out Louds went on an American tour with The Dears. After many more tours, albums, collaborations and remixes, their indie sound has become very mature. Their fans become more and more numerous, not least because of their impressive live performances

SHOUT OUT LOUDS now release their new album “Work“, which focuses on their classical strengths: pop songs with melodies full of joy and colors. Critics agree that this is their best album up to now. Radio stations already play the two singles, “Walls“ and “Fall Hard“. These Norsemen continue their conquest… on 28th October, they’re going to invade the Rockhal Club. Don’t miss…

Support for this show will be DAG FöR DAG. Check them out, you can download their brandnew EP for free here!
