Their first album sold more than one million copies and catapulted The Kooks to the status of new saviour of English rock. With a peppering of formidable hits (“Seaside”, “Ooh La”, “Naive”, …), “Inside In / Inside Out” garnered all the votes of 2006, making the Luke Pritchard’s band the worthy successors of Oasis, or even the Beatles.

Two years and a tour later, “Konk” was released, a second album from The Kooks which once again hit the bull’s-eye. Always progressive, The Kooks have certainly established themselves as one of the best groups in current English rock. As they were in 2006, the singles from this second album (“Do You Wanna”, “Always Where I Need To Be”, …) are unstoppable, taking the Charts by storm.
