The Rockhal’s loyal spectators already know the band that is going to play at the Club on 4 March. After more or less four years, The Sisters of Mercy are back, ready to set the stage on fire. We’re not accepting any excuses from rock fans: reserve your ticket now!

Those who don’t know The Sisters of Mercy and who’ve never been to one of their concerts won’t be disappointed, just ask their fans “awesome show, what a unique experience”, these are just some quotations from various fansites. 1985 saw “First and last and always” and it was an album that fascinated and shocked editors in all music magazines, radio DJs as John Peel and a rapidly growing fanbase with its brilliant mix of Rock paired with Doctor Avalanche as the drummachine joint by pulsing beats and a psychedelic wall  of sound. “Floodland” and “Vision Thing” followed, both two masterpieces that left the Gothic Rock far behind a fact that is more than important to Andrew Eldritch. Or as the Metal Hammer put it: [the Sisters are...]  "a lean glittering groove machine for the new millennium, leaving the sullenly anachronistic reformations of their contemporaries far behind."

The Sisters of Mercy have seen many ups and some downs during their career, which is normal for a band that has existed for decades, but the fact that they are still out there performing on stage and delighting their most loyal fans proves that this band is a true legend. If you visit their website, Andrew Eldritch brings it to the point:

„We are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine.
We are intellectual love gods.

We make records, sometimes.
We play concerts, sometimes.“

On 4 March 2011, The Sisters of Mercy are going hit the stage of the Rockhal Club for one of their rare shows, so don’t miss this one!
