In order to preserve the memory of Frank Zappa, his son Dweezil has organised the Zappa plays Zappa tour. Together with a group of brilliant young musicians, the prodigal son relights the fire inherent in his father’s songs.

After the tour in 2006, Dweezil Zappa went to the studio for almost a year so he could conserve the live spirit while recording. The result is an impressive first album.
„In order to revive my father’s music as honestly as possible, I had to try to understand it first, to find its roots… this required veritable music studies”, he explained But he achieved this successfully and at the last Grammy Awards in the USA, Zappa plays Zappa were awarded the Grammy for best rock instrumental performance for “Peaches En Regalia“. Dweezil baptised his new tour „Tour de Frank“. It is going to lead him and his band mates all around the world. And once again, Frank Zappa’s incredible career will be in the focus of the tour.
