Review
Next spring, Bullet for my Valentine will release their 3rd album, which was recorded together with Don Gilmore of Linkin Park. This new record is said to be even more powerful than its predecessors and Bullet for my Valentine should finally establish themselves as the new millennium’s undisputed emo/scream reference.
It is not by chance that their first album was named “The Poison”: the band had quickly understood that its music style would soon spread like a genuine poison, contaminating everything on its way.
“The Poison” now is a must have, a genre reference. It surely is one of those albums that any emo, screamo or hard rock fan in general needs to possess. Otherwise, one wouldn’t be taken seriously. “The Poison” is full of old school references and has a mind-blowing sound and sharp, biting riffs. When it came out, everybody agreed that this album was a milestone.
The second album was just as important – “Scream aim fire” was released in January 2008, and Bullet for my Valentine went on tour together with Guns ‘N’ Roses, Iron Maiden and Metallica. They had now reached the top of the pyramid of rock.
This spring, they’re coming back with their third album. It’s already classified among the most awaited-for of the year. Without any doubt, they will hit all European and international charts once again with this release.
In 2008, “Scream aim fire” went straight to number one in the British charts and to number 4 in the United States.
Their appearance at the Rockhal is announced for July 02.
