Review

In 2010, Channel Zero, the best metal band that Belgium has ever known has risen from its ashes and came back with a bang! Often referred to as the "Belgium Metallica", the hard rocking quartet from Brussels will present their first album released after their reunification to the Rockhal audience on 6 December 2011.

In 1995, the breakthrough year for Channel Zero, the band toured across the world with, among others, Megadeth, Danzig, and Biohazard. Further they graced the bills of many famous European festivals like "Rock Werchter" or "Printemps de Bourges" and the band played a headline tour in Australia. Two years later, Channel Zero released their final studio offering, "Black Fuel" and finally split up in the same year.

In 2010, to the surprise of their fans, Channel Zero announced one show in the notorious Brussels venue Ancienne Belgique. This one show resulted in six sold out shows in less than 60 minutes, 12.000 old and new fans could see for themselves that even a 14 year break didn't make the band lose any of their energy and power.

The band has now released their brand new album "Feed 'Em With a Brick", produced by Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy and Devil Driver). This record really is a kick in the teeth. It's brutal, vicious and full of power. It doesn't ignore the metal past, but its sounds, song topics and the sheer energy oozing from every song are more then ever 2011. It's the only album Channel Zero should have made since their 1997 break. It is Channel Zero 2011. "Feed 'Em With a Brick" entered the Belgium album charts at number 2 in its first week of sales.

Singer Franky De Smet Van Damme, drumming force Phil Baheux, bass player Tino De Martino and now joined by the impressive international Mikey Doling (ex-Soulfly and founding member of SNOT) on guitar, Channel Zero will shook the Rockhal to its foundations on 6 December 2011.
