Worthy successor to Pantera, over recent years Lamb of God has pushed alternative metal to a higher plain than its lesser counterparts. The group is now considered THE reference for modern metal, a status confirmed with the release last year of “Wrath”, its sixth album.
Lamb of God is living proof that you can succeed in a Heavy Metal career without the slightest commercial or artistic concession. The group owes its success above all to its five ardent musicians, immersed in the music of Pantera, Slayer and Metallica from the youngest age and technically well above average.
Admired for its original style, its relentless groove and the power of its riffs, Lamb of God has also adopted the good habit of releasing albums of impressive quality. Sombre, threatening and direct, the metal discharged by the group from Richmond (Virginia) nonetheless remains a radical solution for eliminating any black thoughts you might have.
On 9 June next, the Club at the Rockhal will open its doors to Lamb of God. Once they are closed behind you, you can expect a wall of sound to crash into you head-on!
