It is said that if you don’t know your past you can’t know your future! Groundation has made that adage its leitmotiv, because not only does the group know where the music it produces comes from it, also and above all knows exactly where it’s going.

Whilst capturing the very essence and the deepest roots of Jamaican music, Groundation takes it to an even higher level, bestowing it with colours as jazzy as they are dub or funk, and the result of their experimentation and improvised association feels great.

Their performances, exuding the sunniest of colour and sound, are just so many moments of peace and sharing which the group offers its audience.
