On 9 July 2011, get ready for one of the pop/rock icons of the eighties: Cyndi Lauper will set the Rockhal on fire with her greatest hits and present her current album “Memphis Blues”, which was released in 2010.  

Without any doubt, it was her album “She’s so unusual” and her eccentrical punk personality that made Cyndi Lauper just as famous as Madonna in 1983. She was the first singer in history to have reached the top ten with five singles from one album! With her timeless hits such as “Girls just want to have fun”, “True colors” and “The World Is Stone”, Cyndi Lauper catapulted herself to international fame in a very short time. Using her creativity to the fullest, she became a truly talented star.

After an exceptional career of 25 years and 30 million records sold, the pop diva hasn’t abandoned her “true colors”. Once again, she proves her audience that she has a taste for eclecticism and completely reinvents herself with “Memphis Blues”. Backed by a blues and soul music dream team (B.B. King, Jonny Lang, Allen Toussaint and Ann Peebles), the American musician has collaborated with the greatest there are.
