ENTER SHIKARI & YOUR DEMISE & LET LIVE

The four-piece Enter Shikari will ignite the Rockhal crowd on 27 September 2011. The English trancecore band will perform for the third time at the Rockhal and show why they have been designated as one of the most exciting and explosive live bands of their genre. Likewise from the UK, Your Demise will brighten up the evening with their metal-laden music that draw inspirations from bands like Sick of it All or Hatebreed.  

After years of playing together and experimenting, Enter Shikari was born in 2003. These four guys have been friends for many years and they combined each individual’s own influences, to form a sound that is truly original, a word that is used far too much these days.  

People are relentlessly trying to pigeonhole Enter Shikari but this is definitely not possible; They basically mix traditional aspects of modern Rock music with other genres such as dance, euphoria, trance and electronica. The result is a marriage of passionate rock music with both atmospheric electronics and dance synths. Although the band is keeping the honesty and unifying sense of hardcore, Enter Shikari plays progressive rock, with an experimental attitude.  

Enter Shikari first made a name for themselves with their debut album Take To The Skies in 2007 by combing the best of different music genres. Their 2009 released album Common Dreads is even superior to the predecessor album by providing an angrier, more mature sound. It is daring and certainly creates expectations, proving there’s certainly more to come from this band. Whatever direction they next take with their new album being released in summer 2011, it’s sure to be exciting.  

During Enter Shikari’s live shows, you will witness such a passion in their music that you can’t help but feeling involved. With an incredibly intense stage presence that reflects the euphoric aspects of their music, they are definitely a must see live band. Together with the hardcore punk bands Your Demise and Let Live (US), the 27 September 2011 is a treat for all the fans of this music style.
