The Rockhal is proud to announce an exceptional concert to close the summer concert season on 13 July: PRINCE! During his European tour he will only stop by at some very exclusive places, and the Rockhal is one of them. This is a premiere: let’s welcome a pop legend!

Artist, multi-instrumentalist, autodidact, energetic guitar player, unmatched showman... he’s definitely one of most influential artists of our time! In 1978 and 1979, his first albums “For You” and “Prince” already revealed the artist’s potential, at the age of 20. All of his records are labeled “Produced, written, composed, arranged and performed by Prince!

His career lasts now for more than 30 years and is definitely one of the most successful ones in the history of pop and rock music. He produced nearly 40 albums and sold more about 100 million copies... and legend has it that there are thousands of songs asleep in his enormous Paisley Park studios in Minneapolis.

He’s written so many chartbusters that his career is marked by standards such as “Kiss”, “Cream”, “The Most beautiful Girl in the World”, “Sexy MF” and “Girls & Boys”, not forgetting the timeless “Purple Rain”! He also has definitely influenced dozens of artists who refer to him, such as Alicia Keys and Beyoncé.

But his true genius is only unleashed on stage. 13 July 2011 is THE lucky day for all Prince fans! The “kid from Minneapolis”, PRINCE, will electrify his audience at the Rockhal with a unique and exclusive concert.
