With a guitar technique and sound second to none, Carlos Santana truly is a legend: he has a career going back to the sixties, a discography more than 30 records strong and more awards on his shelve than most musicians can only dream of. Legendary too is his performance in 1969 at the renowned Woodstock festival. While he ventured into a more psychedelic Rock in the seventies, the 1999 published Supernatural is probably Carlos' biggest success to date: 26 million copies sold worldwide and no less than 9 Grammy awards. He has collaborated with an outstanding range of artists, Shakira, Eric Clapton, the late Michael Jackson and Herbie Hancock to name but a few.
