Get ready for a rock night on 4 February with one of the most important English bands of the last 30 years of music history. The Cult will perform on stage at the Club with supporting act, Masters of Reality.

The Cult emerged in 1984 as one of the main renovators of heavy metal made in England. They took their inspiration from elements that had already contributed to the success of some of the most mythical bands of their time, such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and even The Doors. Nevertheless, The Cult added their personal touch of post punk gothic rock. The band rapidly eliminated its competitors and became one of England’s musical references. The song “She sells sanctuary” became one of their greatest hits, enabling them to establish their reputation in their home country. Later, they released “Love Removal Machine”, a song that helped them to conquer the American market.

During their career, The Cult went through ups and downs which stopped them from preserving their growing popularity. They split up several times, but they always managed to get back on top thanks to singer Ian Astbury and guitar player Billy Duffy (former guitar player of The Nosebleeds and Theatre of Hate). Even today, these two musicians are the hard core of the band. They’ve collaborated with the world’s greatest musicians, for instance, Ian Astbury recorded a song with Slash for his latest album. Nevertheless, they feel best when they’re playing together as The Cult. Their next tour is going to lead them to Luxembourg, it’s going to be a way to say thank you to all their loyal fans who’ve supported them during all those years.

In early February, The Cult are going to perform on stage at the Rockhal’s Club to prove that they haven’t lost one iota of their energy, talent, and passion. This concert is going to revive the most beautiful memories for The Cult’s long-time fans, and surely some younger fans will have the opportunity to discover this fantastic band.
