In 2008, they conquered the Rockhal’s audience with an incredible concert. We are proud to announce that The Dø are back. The fans were hungering for this news since they left the Rockhal two years ago. If you want to give yourself pleasure, or if you didn’t have the opportunity to see them the last time, here’s your second chance. They’re going to perform on the Rockhal Club’s stage on 8 April 2011.

It all began around 2005, when musician and film music composer Dan Levy and the Franco-Finnish singer Olivia Bouyssou Merilahti met to work on the soundtrack for the film “Empire of the Wolves”. It was musical love at first sight; they formed The Dø, a name that would soon make a lasting impression on the music world.

In 2008, they released their smash album “A Mouthful”, which won many prizes and got excellent reviews. They’ve played at the greatest festivals, sold out concert halls and delighted fans from all around the world with their refreshing sound. Their style is located somewhere between folk, pop, rock and jazz, with influences that once sound like a black and white film with Ella Fitzgerald and Jimi Hendrix; or like a romantic, colorful comedy with a Björk and Beatles soundtrack. On stage, these two inseparable musicians are even more impressive when they play their passionate and energy-loaded rock sound. Just ask those who’ve seen them on 20 October 2008, they’ll confirm.
