Supergroups come and go. Them Crooked Vultures is definitely here to stay… This eponymous debut from Them Crooked Vultures – a supergroup comprised of Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Nirvana/Foo Fighters drummer and frontman Dave Grohl – is set to make history. It’s the very stuff you’d expect in fact, given the respective backgrounds of the respectable protagonists. Never has a supergroup sounded more like the sum of its parts. And the live show is utterly insane! The rock-god triumvirate is delivering truly pulverising performances. Monstrous guitar and bass riffs, threatening to peel the paint off the venue walls, and the rythmic power of the drums is absolutely staggering. This beast is born out of fire and passion… as well as skill!
