Natas loves You (L):
As one of the few local bands that made it to the first spot in the national charts with their singles “Finished line”, the Natas found the perfect blend between the early Pink Floyd’s psychedelic pop rock and the sour magic of Supergrass’s or the Manic Street Preachers’ brit pop. Their first album is to come out in November.

Julie’s Haircut (I)
They are surely one of Italy’s most interesting alternative rock bands and playing live is really in their nature. Their style, which is somewhere between Primal Scream and Kasabian, has been tailored to transcend to a higher level once it’s being played live on stage. Their last, double album is called “Our secret ceremony“ and was released this year on A Silent Place.

Heike has the Giggles (I)
If you like the early PJ Harvey, Juliette Lewis or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, you’re going to adore Heike has the Giggles! This band from Solarolo is lead by the cute Emanuela Drei and Heike has the Giggles spent almost 3 years on the road touring around. Now they’re a well-rehearsed band that will finally release its first album in the beginning of 2010.

Beatrice Antolini (I)
She is already famous in Italy and has more than one thing in common with Fiona Apple. Besides the same passion for the piano (which she discovered at the age of 3), she is also kind of a crazy genius when it comes to song writing. Furthermore, she leaves a similar mark as an inventive, not a trivial artist. Her last album “Due” is a piece of fresh, bright and exhilarating pop music. She could easily be this year’s big surprise at the Sonic Visions Festival!

Cico (L/I)
Cico’s first album is there at last! Uranami’s singer is now ready to face the adventure of going solo. In order to adequately celebrate the release of this album, Cico invited all the participants in this new project: Raftside, Thorunn, Pecca (Uranami), Godié (ALS), Raquel Barreira, Corbi (De Läb), and many more… What more does it need to spend a very enjoyable evening with one of the country’s most talented artists?

Daniel Balthasar (L)
He can claim for himself to be the first and only Luxembourger ever to have been invited to the very famous South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. He’s released three solo albums and lots of singles that all made it into the national charts. With his new album “Palpitations”, the artist tried to find a more sophisticated sound and more organic ambiance, which he certainly accomplished!

21.30 -22.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
Porn Funkerz (B)
In the beginning there was Porn Again, a somewhat complicated trip-hop band from Arlon. Between two rehearsals, they simply started mixing whatever got in their hands. They liked their new way of working and created Porn Funkerz, the hip hop/drum’n’bass version of their initial project… their energy and success remained the same!

Jacob Brass (D)
The singer/songwriter Jacob Brass is 23 years old and is currently living in Munich. His music can be described as hand-made pop, written on the acoustic guitar or piano, and it is Jacob’s special feeling for melodies as well as his unmistakable and sensitive voice that makes his songs so unique. Currently Jacob is continuing work on his debut album, which is expected to be released this year.

THE GOOD MORNING DIARY (DE)
01.00 -02.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
Flashy Rock (L)
Another young band that has a bright future ahead. Flashy Rock have assimilated all the codes of French electro rock (with Daft Punk and Justice in front) in record time and are now spitting back small bombs on the dance floor through their turntables. With or without their masks, these two guys’ word is law wherever they go.
