The young Belgian band from Liège is back, once more taking out their vintage sound with their stabbing guitars. A new album should be released in the beginning of next year. Their new songs confirm their obsession with ELO or the Flaming Lips’ spacy melodies and the current synthie pop scene’s dancing arrangements (Phoenix, Metronomy…). Their new album’s first singles, “Love hurts”, is already on heavy rotation on all Belgian radio stations.

Oku and the Reggaerockers (D)
Doesn’t this band tell it all by its name? Oku and his Reggaerockers, who come from the region of Saarbrucken, might well bring some sunshine into this second edition. Their new singles, “Mehr Feuer”, is to be released on 30 November and the band will exclusively present it to you 3 days earlier.

They were 2009’s most important newcomer and will certainly be “the" band to follow during the next years. They’re even going to tour all over Europe with Placebo at the end of the year. Maybe it’s the album that the Smashing Pumpkins always wanted to create…

If you've been at last year’s first edition, you can’t possibly have resisted to Murder, a Danish band that has already returned once to the Rockhal to support the Tindersticks. This band’s name is I got you on Tape and they will be introduced to you at the Sonic Visions festival.

With their last album, “Danger mouth”, Mutiny on the Bounty have shifted one gear up, After four tours they finally found a distribution label matching with their hopes. As usual, they’re highly impressive once they enter the stage. In short time, this band has become one of the most important ones “made in Luxembourg”!

Hal Flavin (L)
Hal Flavin are slowly developing into the kings of Luxembourg’s electro pop scene. Their pop songs dispose of a merciless groove and incredible arrangements brought out of machines that seem to come from somewhere else… But foremost, they have an extremely developed sense of melody that situates them somewhere between Duran Duran and Metronomy. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if they’d turn out to be English!
