Vinnie Who (DK)
He’s sexy, he’s androgynous and he’s this year’s number one discovery from Denmark. This man of the age of 21 only relights the disco flame only in order to extinct it with his electro blankets reminding of artists such as Calvin Harris. After his remarkable gig at this year’s Roskilde festival, Vinnie Who is ready to explore Europe… and the Sonic Visions Festival!

Piano Club (B)
The young Belgian band from Liège is back, once more taking out their vintage sound with their stabbing guitars. A new album should be released in the beginning of next year. Their new songs confirm their obsession with ELO or the Flaming Lips’ spacy melodies and the current synthie pop scene’s dancing arrangements (Phoenix, Metronomy…). Their new album’s first singles, “Love hurts”, is already on heavy rotation on all Belgian radio stations.

Oku and the Reggaerockers (D)
Doesn’t this band tell it all by its name? Oku and his Reggaerockers, who come from the region of Saarbrucken, might well bring some sunshine into this second edition. Their new singles, “Mehr Feuer”, is to be released on 30 November and the band will exclusively present it to you 3 days earlier.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour (DK)
Maybe you’ve discovered this band when they played as support for Katy Perry at the Rockhal in last July. Did you like them? Then you can look forward to seeing the Danish band again at the same place on 27 November! They’re going to present their new album, “Fruit”, which has just surprisingly entered the French charts!

Silversun Pickups (US)
They were 2009’s most important newcomer and will certainly be “the" band to follow during the next years. They’re even going to tour all over Europe with Placebo at the end of the year. Their last album, “Swoon”, is a veritable blow of fresh air and showed how to manage bringing together indie and alternative music. Maybe it’s the album that the Smashing Pumpkins always wanted to create…

20.30 -21.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
The Yupps (F):
With their angel faces, their guitars in their hands and their laid-back attitude, the Yupps are somehow the Kooks of the region of Metz: they’re not more and not less than a part of a new generation of pop rock bands. After winning the RTL2 Pop-Rock Tour 2009 contest, the Yupps seem to have seduced everybody including radio stations and are now evolving towards new horizons which are bigger, brighter and bluer… Give it a try!

21.30 -22.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
I got you on Tape (DK)
If you've been at last year’s first edition, you can’t possibly have resisted to Murder, a Danish band that has already returned once to the Rockhal to support the Tindersticks. But maybe you didn’t know that Murder’s singer has another project, which is more rock, more alternative, more indie. This band’s name is I got you on Tape and they will be introduced to you at the Sonic Visions festival.

22.30 -23.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
Mutiny on the Bounty (L)
With their last album, “Danger mouth”, Mutiny on the Bounty have shifted one gear up, After four tours they finally found a distribution label matching with their hopes. As usual, they’re highly impressive once they enter the stage. In short time, this band has become one of the most important ones “made in Luxembourg”!

23.30 -00.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
Hal Flavin (L)
Hal Flavin are slowly developing into the kings of Luxembourg’s electro pop scene. Their pop songs dispose of a merciless groove and incredible arrangements brought out of machines that seem to come from somewhere else… But foremost, they have an extremely developed sense of melody that situates them somewhere between Duran Duran and Metronomy. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if they’d turn out to be English!

01.00 -02.00 : ROCKHALICIOUS
Abstract Sound Project (DJ-set) (F)
They’ve been influenced by artists such as Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers or Vitalic, and ASP’s style is somehow a mix of electro and techno rock. By using synthesizers, effects and laptops, ASP express their energy through devastating peaks, delivering concerts that remind of a rollercoaster ride at full speed.
