Événement incontournable de la scène musicale française depuis plus de trente ans, le Printemps de Bourges est un des tremplins les plus connus et influents de l’Hexagone.

Depuis 2006, l’équipe du Réseau Printemps – en charge de dénicher les nouveaux talents – a ouvert le dispositif aux artistes luxembourgeois avec à la clé, l’opportunité de monter sur l’une des scènes des Découvertes du Printemps de Bourges qui se déroulera du 20 au 25 avril 2011.

Le jury des Découvertes de la région Lorraine & Luxembourg a choisi de retenir les groupes luxembourgeois suivant pour participer à la sélection sur la scène le 5 novembre au Rockhalclub :

- Superheroes in Ties :
In 2007 Jimi Jinx and Rodger Sminded founded the band "Super Heroes in Ties". In 2009, after the recording of their first album the Oedipus alter ego, they were joined by Simon Tombro (guitar), Tom Simbro (bass) and Daron Lescro (drums). Although the first album takes it's influences from rock/punk/folk music the Super Heroes in Ties can't be categorized as such. Their moto is "music is music". So be ready for some suprises!

- Mutiny on the Bounty :
Mutiny on the Bounty has seen the light of day in april 2004. Their sound can be described as urgent, straight mathy, time-signature-laden indierock with post hardcore appeal, combining organic angularity with a taste for captivating melodies. Bands like At The Drive-In, Minus The Bear, The Fall Of Troy, The Blood Brothers and North Of America may cross your mind when you listen to their sound. They love the epic, the sombre, the tragic, the geekship and the hispano flair.

- Plankton Waves :
Walking the dark edge of New Wave, Plankton Waves tell heathen stories of modern times and compose soundtracks to twilight dreams. Each song reveals another facet to their very own universe in which they explore the autumn side of electronic music. Shy but dancy, gloomy but shiny, their live performances are an intense presentation of extroverted introversion.

- Heartbeat Parade :
Heartbeat Parade is a three-piece band creating and performing instrumental rock combined with vocal sampling. HBP’s music is rooted in the sheer endless energy of hardcore, the geeky abusing of guitars commonly referred to as math-rock, the skull-cracking rhythms of metal and the do-it-yourself ethic of indie rock.
