Transatlantic is an all-star band: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Neil Morse (former Spock’s Beard), Pete Trewasas (Marillion) and Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings) redefined the concept of progressive rock with the release of their album “The Whirlwind”. Do not miss them on 10th Mai, 2010, at the Rockhal Club!

“The Whirlwind” is like a novel by Tolstoy. It’s the “War and Peace” of progressive rock! These are the words that Neil Morse used to describe this luxury all-star band’s third album, which includes not less than four of the most influential musicians of the last twenty years of progressive rock.

Seven years after they announced the band’s winter rest, the dream team composed of Portnoy, Morse, Trewasas and Stolt is warming up the turbines of their Transatlantic again and releases its most perfected album. “The Whirlwind” is a 77-minute-long masterpiece divided into twelve chapters, and it will surely inspire all fans of progressive rock. This time, the musicians really show all of their courage and that they won’t let anyone pigeonhole them.
And Morse concludes: “I honestly think that this album is better than anything we could have done in the past!”

On 10th May 2010, you’ll have the opportunity to see this exceptional band on stage for a unique performance and a show that will certainly go down in the history of the Rockhal!
