For a new album, a new tour and a new episode which is opening in our life and which we want to share with you. For the ultimate tour, and the total celebration, a little as though it could be the last time … ”

These are the laconic words used by the German group recently on its internet site. And when the first dates of the tour were announced there was literally a stampede for tickets: two concerts in Leipzig, then Vienna, Freiburg, Hanover and Bremen all sold out very quickly indeed.

And that’s after twenty years they’ve lasted! Die Toten Hosen, the cult group it is, is one of those very rare groups to enjoy an unwavering reputation and whose every concert is played to closed tills.
And what concerts they have been! Between 1982 and 1997 alone, the group performed at no fewer than 1,000 concerts!
Habitués (and practically resident what is more) of the festival Rock am Ring, DIe Toten Hosen probably have more “anthems” than any other group in the world and there isn’t a fan who doesn’t know the words to “Hier kommt Alex”, “Zehn kleine Jägermeister” or “Alles aus Liebe”.

You may not know it but during their career Die Toten Hosen have opened for groups like the Ramones, U2 and even the Rolling Stones if you please …

There is no need to add this, but Die Toten Hosen are an sure-fire guarantee of a 100% pure punk-rock concert 100% when the adrenalin is concentrated in explosive numbers which will shatter against the walls of the Main Hall.

But it must be repeated, jump for tickets because there will probably not be enough for everyone …
