Rockhal and the Schalltot Collective present:

The self-made instrumental band And So I Watch You From Afar from Belfast are razing more and more concert venues to the ground with their remarkable live shows. Many of us remember their stunning performance at this year’s edition of the “Out of the Crowd” festival and on 05 October 2011, they will be playing a full show at the Rockhal Club.

Known for their unrelenting tours that have seen them play over 300 gigs since the start of 2009, And So I Watch You From Afar (ASIWYFA to their fans) don’t know how to take a break.

From appearances at “SXSW”, “Eurosonic”, “Electric Picnic”, “Novarock”, “Pukkelpop”, “Sonisphere”, to tour dates in Europe, North America, Russia and a support slot for the rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, the band has been on the road playing music non-stop since the release of their debut album “Our Machine and Nothing Can Stop it”. Their music is allying the heavy and experimental aspects of post rock with the complex contractions of math-rock.

“Gangs”, their newly released record, sounds even more mature and features aggressive guitar riffs, mathematical raptures and crazy structural changes at every turn of each song’s arrangement. Further, the band was nominated for a number of prestigious music awards in Ireland and abroad.

As anyone who bears witness to their live show can testify, that And So I Watch You From Afar are having a bloody good time on stage with a sound that is loud and kicking. Be prepared for monstrous guitars, mind blowing drums and genuinely breath-taking moments, as ASIWYFA will hit the stage of the Rockhal on 05 October 2011. This instrumental band will prove everyone that music speaks louder than words.
