NISROC were formed in 2008 by members of Independent andPedro and released their first EP, Try to describe Lightning, in2009. The first months in the band's existence could be described asa genre defining procedure where they were merely influenced bypop rock bands as you can clearly recognize on Try to describeLightning's content. In 2009, NISROC made a career definingdecision as original bassist Nico Panta left the band and wasreplaced by Sleeping Dog member Nathalie Haas. The bandproceeded to the indie and rock genre. In 2010, Sven Schmelerjoined the band on the guitar and brought with him post-hardcoreinfluences which still are mainly responsible for the band's rythmicand intense sound. Later on that year, Nathalie left the band andwas replaced by Nico Mander on the bass.

The new constellation and sound made it possible for the band toplay some local festivals such as the 'Youth on Stage', 'Food for yoursenses', 'Dudelange on wheels', 'Fête de la Musique' and 'ScreamingFields' only to name a few. During this period the band was alsoable to share the stage with acts such as Mutiny on the Bounty(LU), Heartbeat Parade (LU), Versus You (LU), Enemies (EIR), HisStatue Falls (D) and quite a few others. Most recently, NISROCrecorded their new demo in the begining of 2011 and hopefully theywill release it at the end of the year.

For the rest of the year, the party rabbits are looking forward to write a bunch of new songs and to try out a couple of new stuff. They are set to hit the road and eager to play every stage and party and every crowd.
