In December 2015, Luxembourg lost one of its major Rock’n’Roll icons when Luke „Luss“ Haas passed away at the age of 66.

Luss was a gifted artist who shared his many musical facets with a lot of people on stage. In addition to being a performer he was also a talented singer-songwriter, writer, composer and painter constantly looking for new challenges and artistic projects.

In order to pay tribute to his work and remember the “dinosaur of Luxembourg’s Rock’n’Roll”, a special concert organised by his daughter, family and long-time friends in collaboration with Rocklab will take place on 11 June at the Club of the Rockhal. The profit will be donated to charity.

About Luke Haas :

Luke „Luss“ Haas was born in 1949 in Esch/Alzette and has been deeply into Rock'n'Roll as an active musician and artist since the late 50's. He has played in several bands during his career like The Outlaws, Cool Breeze, Midlife Crisis, New Blood or Luke Haas Gang with whom he released a large number of albums and singles. He was also involved in the production process of various local bands and artists. In addition to being a passionate musician, Luke Haas has also published the « Luxemburger Rocklexikon », the « Luxemburger Rockstory » and a comic, named « Comics (aus und über) Luxemburg ».
