BEADY EYE

After having set the public alight on their UK tour, Beady Eye will be live at the Rockhal in Luxembourg on 21 February 2014 performing tracks from their latest album “BE”. Following the huge success of the debut album “Different Gear, Still Speeding”, Beady Eye have built themselves a credible set of materials outside Oasis. The Liam Gallagher-fronted band and his ex-Oasis band mates invite you to discover their sophomore album and rediscover their greatest rock hits – definitely a show not to be missed!

One of most awaited albums of 2013, “BE” represents a true evolution in Beady Eye’s sound and writing techniques. Recorded in London with cult producer Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell and Gem Archer experimented with Protools, cassette tapes, samplers, recorded conversation, iphone apps and unusual instrumentation to create this ambitious and exhilarating set of tracks showcasing a stunning depth of songwriting. The record is a bold statement of intent from a band that sound as hungry as ever to achieve greatness.

Liam Gallagher stated; ‘‘Working with Sitek just opened something up in us. He’s without a doubt the best producer I’ve ever worked with, a real outlaw – he doesn’t give a fuck, no rules. We had a new found focus when we were writing it – we really got our heads down and got our shit together – clear heads, none of that crap from the 90s. It feels like a really special record for us.”

Early November, the band further announced the release of their new double a-side single “Iz Rite/‘Soul Love” out on 25th through Columbia Records. Described by the band as "The Beatles on E", “Iz Rite'’s upbeat melodies, thunderous “Tomorrow Never Knows” -esque drums and rhythmic acoustic guitars cast a stunning juxtaposition to the restrained, low-fi menace of “Soul Love” which showcases Liam’s vocals at their rawest and most impactful.

Known as a charismatic frontman, Liam Gallagher is sure to deliver a captivating live performance with his experienced musicians! Don’t miss Beady Eye performing live at the Rockhal this coming 21 February 2014!
