Be a HEARo - MUSIC WORKSHOP - FOR FAMILIES
How does a pop/rock band work? What does each instrument do? What is a pop song made of? The answer to these questions and more will be revealed during a series of workshops organized by Rocklab and hosted by the X-Ray Orchestra.
During several interactive and playful group exercises, the participants will thus get a closer look at how percussion (drums), voice and stringed instruments (guitar & bass) work and what lies behind such concepts as rhythm, melody and harmony. How to create a rhythm with body percussion, how to change the sound of a stringed instrument using guitar effect pedals, how to come up with the right backing vocals to support the lead singer - the X-Ray orchestra will tackle these and more elements during their demonstrations.
Target audience: Families with children aged 08 - 12
