APPARAT will be perfoming at the Philharmonie Luxembourg on October 13th 2019. Tickets will be on sale Friday, 31st of May at 10 am.
APPARAT, aka Sascha Ring, fuses tricky electronics with heartfelt and auspicious pop. LP5 is Apparat's first release since 2013's Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre) and follows two studio albums, II and III (Mute / Monkeytown) by Moderat, the trio he founded with Modeselektor’s Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. This is a first taste of what to expect from the Berlin based artist.
Apparat is joined on the night by Dataline, who is well-known for his demos with Elektron Music Machines along with many other brands of gear. Based in Berlin and working on the upcoming ‘Elektron Berlin Studio’ - his musical journey is all about messing around with electronic music machines to create immersive, trippy and emotional grooves.
Completing the line-up is David Wrench, a Welsh music producer and mixer based in London. He has worked with some of the world’s most innovative and influential artists (David Byrne, The xx, Frank Ocean, Caribou, Glass Animals, Goldfrapp, Let’s Eat Grandma). David is well known in his field and his work regularly receives awards and nominations (Grammy’s, Mercury Music Prize, Brit Awards MPG Awards).
