THRILLER - LIVE
DIE ORIGINAL SHOW VOM LONDONER WEST END!
THRILLER - LIVE Experience all the magic of Michael Jackson in one single show! THRILLER – LIVE is a terrific show that celebrates the phenomenon that was Michael Jackson and is a tribute to his greatest hits and unmistakable dance style. The unique show, which originated in London’s West End, brings Jackson’s career – a career that spanned over 40 years – together: Beginning with his first hits with the Jackson 5 before moving on to smashes such as “Bad” and then to songs from the world’s bestselling album of all time, Thriller.
THRILLER – LIVE is already one of the West End’s longest-running shows, and there is no sign of it stopping any time soon either. It isn’t just in the British capital that this celebration of Jackson’s tremendous musical and dancing legacy is still extremely popular, however. The show devoted to the King of Pop has already enraptured 3.1 million viewers in 28 different countries – because it is a real homage to an exceptional artist. A number of brilliant singers deliver electrifying interpretations of Jackson megahits at the same time. Extremely talented dancers also reproduce his unique moves on stage with scintillating energy and are supported by spectacular multimedia effects, which are continuously being developed further by the show’s creators. “You won’t feel this close to the King of Pop again for a long time,” promises Focus Online.
Adrian Grant is THRILLER – LIVE’s executive director as well as one of the show’s producers and creators, and it was from his “Annual Michael Jackson Celebration”, which was acknowledged by Michael Jackson himself, that the current spectacle emerged nine years ago. Two well-respected choreographers, Gary Lloyd and LaVelle Smith Jnr, are responsible for the choreography. Smith was actually the original choreographer for the multiple-award-winning “Dangerous” video and has won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography five times.
THRILLER – LIVE has been called “an exuberant blast” by the Daily Mail, while BILD’s verdict is no less enthusiastic: “Perfect choreography. Perfect presentation. A hit firework.” Munich’s Abendzeitung is also impressed, as its summary indicates: “Perfectly delivered by numerous singers, this homage is far better than any other imitator’s reminder of the entertainer in the world.”
