IAN PAICE (DEEP PURPLE) FEAT. PUR.PENDICULAR
Ian Paice is the legendary drummer of Deep Purple and currently the only remaining founding member of Deep Purple. Now he's touring with Pur.Pendicular to bring his best-of-classic Deep Purple show to the stage live and close up in a club atmosphere. No video screen is needed, because Ian Paice will perform his unique way of playing over two hours only a few meters away from the audience. Deep Purple classics like "Child In Time", "Black Night", "Smoke On The Water", "Woman From Tokyo" and "Hush" will be performed.
The band Pur.Pendicular, which Ian Paice and Joe Lynn Turner even called "Best Deep Purple Tribute Band in the World", has the ability to convey the unique magic of Deep Purple, which is responsible for the success of the legendary rock band, live at every gig. Even Ritchie Blackmore says "Pur.Pendicular is an excellent band" and Roger Glover said after his performance with Pur.Pendicular in Basel 2012 "They sound fresh and it is a great pleasure to play with them". That's why Steve Morse, Don Airey, Roger Glover and Neil Murray also played as guests on the first album "tHis is the tHing" alongside Ian Paice. On the current album "Venus to Volcanus" Ian Paice again plays the drums. Another guest is the former Rainbow keyboarder Tony Carey. The album made it into the Top 20 of the German Metal-Rock-Charts.
